AZ HB2001

Amends section 11-201 of Arizona Revised Statutes to prohibit county boards of supervisors from rejecting or interfering with law enforcement or prosecution agencies' receipt of federal grants, awards, and supplemental funding.

Adds new section 11-269.27 requiring county boards of supervisors to accept federal grant monies, award monies, and other supplemental funding for law enforcement or prosecution agencies when those agencies are eligible and qualified for such funding.

Prevents boards of supervisors from using budget determination authority to block or obstruct eligible law enforcement and prosecution agencies from obtaining federal grants and supplemental monies.
