AZ HB2008

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 13-3620 to add supervisors and administrators to the list of mandatory reporters of child abuse and neglect.

Requires immediate supervisors or next-level administrators of mandatory reporters (physicians, peace officers, school personnel, etc.) to report suspected abuse if they develop reasonable belief during employment.

Exempts supervisors and administrators from reporting requirements if they reasonably believe a subordinate mandatory reporter has already made the report.

Maintains existing exceptions for confidential clergy communications, consensual conduct between minors 14-17, and accidental playground injuries at school.

Violations remain a class 1 misdemeanor, or class 6 felony if the failure to report involves a reportable offense.
