AZ HB2010

Establishes the Arizona wine commission consisting of the Department of Agriculture director or designee, four farm winery representatives, one wholesaler representative, and one retailer representative, with governor-appointed members serving staggered two-year terms.

Commission powers include promoting Arizona wine industry through research, marketing, and advertising; maintaining producer lists; receiving wine donations; and administering the Arizona Wine Promotional Trust Fund.

Commission may employ an executive director and secretary with spending capped at $25,000 annually for employee salaries and administrative services provided through an interagency agreement with the Department of Agriculture.

Appropriates $100,000 annually from wine license tax revenues collected under Title 42 to the Arizona Wine Promotional Trust Fund before other allocations are made.

Commission terminates July 1, 2027, with statutory provisions repealed January 1, 2028.
