AZ HB2018

Requires the Arizona Attorney General to investigate alleged violations of state law or the Arizona Constitution by school district governing boards or employees upon request of one or more legislators.

Mandates the Attorney General submit a written report of findings and conclusions within 30 days to the governor, legislature leadership, the requesting legislator(s), and the Secretary of State.

Authorizes the Superintendent of Public Instruction to withhold up to $5,000 in state aid to a school district for each violation found by the Attorney General, with the district required to reduce its budget limit accordingly.

Requires the Attorney General to continue monitoring the school district's response and notify relevant state officials when the offending policy, procedure, or action is discontinued or the violation is otherwise resolved.
