AZ HB2060

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 32-1970 to allow licensed pharmacists to initiate, monitor, and modify drug therapy under written protocols from providers (physicians or registered nurse practitioners).

Requires pharmacists to follow detailed written drug therapy management protocols prescribed by the patient's provider, which must specify the drugs to be managed, conditions requiring provider notification, and authorized laboratory tests.

Clarifies that pharmacists may only select unprescribed drug products if specifically authorized in the written guidelines and protocols, and are responsible for their own negligent acts related to medication changes.

Repeals section 32-1979.01 of Arizona Revised Statutes.
