Contractors must store collected data as accounting records for seven years and provide access to the contracting agency or state auditors upon request at no cost to the agency.

Contractors cannot charge the school district, charter school, or state agency for access to the verification software or for retrieval of data collected by the software.

Contractors must procure the monitoring software from an independent third-party entity rather than developing or providing it themselves.
