Increases the protected period for political signs from 45 days before the primary election to 75 days before the primary election through 7 days after the general election.

Extends the period during which jurisdictions must allow political signs in public rights-of-way from 60 days before the primary election to 75 days before the primary election, ending 15 days after the general election.

Maintains existing protections allowing property owners and candidates to remove signs, and preserving exemptions for hazardous locations and Americans with Disabilities Act compliance issues.

Preserves the ability of cities and towns to designate commercial tourism sign-free zones and prohibit signs on jurisdiction-owned structures.

Clarifies that the bill does not apply to state highways, routes, or overpasses over state highways.
