• Amends Laws 2018, chapter 151, section 1 to modify reporting requirements for residential facility and supportive housing beds for seriously mentally ill adults in Arizona.

• Requires the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) to report to legislative committees on or before December 1 of each year (2018 and 2019) regarding available behavioral health residential facility beds and supportive housing beds.

• Mandates AHCCCS reports must include average length of stay in each type of residential bed, number of arrests of residents during their stay, and number of beds with 24-hour, 7-days-per-week onsite staff.

• Requires tracking of the number of persons who leave residential facilities or supportive housing against the advice of their treatment teams.

• Effective May 27, 2019.
