Prohibits a person from serving on a charter school governing body if they are immediate family members living in the same household as the charter holder of that school.

Prohibits charter school governing body members who are employees of the charter school or spouses of employees from serving on the governing body.

Defines "immediate family" as married couples and their children, and "household of residence" as the place of abode during applicable time periods or the address used for voter registration or property tax purposes.

Applies these conflict-of-interest restrictions to all charter school governing bodies regardless of the sponsoring entity (state board of education, state board for charter schools, universities, or community college districts).
