Adds a new statute (13-505) to Arizona Revised Statutes establishing that a defendant's fear of a victim's actual or perceived gender, gender identity, expression, or sexual orientation cannot be used as a legal defense in criminal proceedings.

Prohibits use of fear related to gender characteristics or sexual orientation as a justification for any criminal act or as evidence of the requisite criminal state of mind.
