Allows school district governing boards to approve a financial literacy course to fulfill a mathematics course required for high school graduation.

Permits a rigorous computer science course to satisfy a mathematics graduation requirement if the course includes significant mathematics content and the school has adequate capacity, infrastructure, and qualified teachers.

Makes clarifying language changes to existing statute regarding community college and university course credit transfers and the civics test requirement for graduation.

Maintains existing requirements that high school graduates must pass the civics portion of the U.S. citizenship and immigration services naturalization test.
