• Amends sections 49-262 and 49-354 of Arizona Revised Statutes to add enforcement provisions for wastewater treatment facilities and public water systems regulated as public service corporations by the Corporation Commission.

• Authorizes the Department of Environmental Quality to request the Corporation Commission take corrective actions within 30 calendar days when the department determines non-compliance with administrative orders, files civil actions, or identifies emergencies.

• Applies to wastewater treatment facilities regulated under water quality control standards and public water systems regulated under drinking water standards.

• Requires the department to determine that Corporation Commission corrective actions would expedite return to compliance before making such requests.
