• Extends the baseline assessment period for underground storage tanks from 7 years beginning January 1, 2016 to 7 years after January 1, 2016.

• Increases maximum funding limits for noncorrective action tank site improvements from $100,000 to $200,000 per site, with component-specific increases including system upgrades ($100,000), tank removal ($20,000), release confirmation ($10,000), and baseline assessments ($30,000).

• Changes article heading in title 49, chapter 6, article 4 from "GRANTS" to "OWNER NONCORRECTIVE ACTION TANK SITE IMPROVEMENT" and revises language from "grant" to "funding and request for reimbursement."

• Requires applications for funding to be submitted on department-provided forms and prohibits reimbursement for work completed more than one year after approval.
