Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 23-1026 regarding periodic medical examinations in workers' compensation cases.

Adds requirement that any physician performing an examination under this section must be located in Arizona.

Makes technical corrections to language throughout the statute, replacing gendered pronouns ("his") with neutral terminology ("the employee's").

Maintains existing provisions allowing employees to request protective orders excusing them from examinations and establishing employer/insurance carrier obligations to cover travel expenses.
