• Amends Arizona's public records laws to include electronic records in the definition of official archives and documents that must be preserved by the state library.

• Establishes a trusted electronic records repository operated by the state library to preserve, secure, and make available electronic and digitized records of the state archives and state documents program.

• Creates an Electronic Records Repository Fund to be administered by the director, funded through legislative appropriations, gifts, grants, fees, and donations, with monies exempt from lapsing provisions.

• Appropriates $70,000 and 1 FTE position to the Secretary of State for fiscal year 2023-2024 to implement the electronic records repository.
