AZ HB2563

Amends Arizona transaction privilege and use tax (TPT) laws to create a new revenue distribution mechanism under section 42-5032.03 for monies collected pursuant to a constitutional amendment (article IX, section 12.2).

Allocates distributed revenues as follows: 70% to classroom site fund for schools, 20% to universities and technology/research initiatives, and 5% each to workforce development programs and other education purposes including school safety and income tax credits.

Repeals sections 42-5010.01 and 42-5029.02, consolidating previous separate tax mechanisms into the new unified distribution system under section 42-5032.03.

Modifies education funding references throughout Arizona Revised Statutes sections 15-185, 15-241, 15-977, 15-1409, 15-1472, 15-1648, 15-2084, and 15-2085 to reference the new revenue distribution section instead of prior statutory provisions.

Makes the entire act effective only if voters approve the referenced constitutional amendment (House Concurrent Resolution) at the next general election after June 30, 2021.
