Charter schools, their governing bodies, sponsors, operators, and management organizations must comply with open meeting requirements under title 38, chapter 3, article 3.1, with notices, agendas, and minutes prominently posted on charter school and state board websites.

Charter schools must comply with public records requirements under title 39, chapter 1, with records prominently posted on charter school and state board websites.

Governing bodies of charter schools must be composed of at least three members, with a majority of remaining members constituting a quorum for business unless prohibited by the school's operating agreement.

Charter school applicants and personnel must complete fingerprint clearance requirements as specified in law, with fingerprint status verifiable through the department of public safety.

The act may be cited as the "Transparency for Taxpayer-Funded Public Schools Act" and modifies sections 15-181 and 15-183 of Arizona Revised Statutes.
