AZ HB2725

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes sections 28-1603 and 28-3478 regarding driver license violations and penalties.

Creates a civil traffic violation (instead of class 2 misdemeanor) for knowingly displaying, causing, or allowing display of a driver license suspended under sections 28-1601 or 28-3308.

Maintains class 2 misdemeanor penalties for other unlawful license uses, including displaying revoked, canceled, or fraudulently altered licenses, lending licenses to others, and committing fraud on license applications.

Preserves existing civil penalty mitigation provisions that allow judges to reduce penalties when payment would cause financial hardship, considering factors such as restitution ability and receipt of government assistance.
