HCR 2004 Summary

• Amends Arizona Constitution to increase House of Representatives from 30 to 60 districts, with one member elected per district instead of two members per district.

• Maintains 30 Senate districts, with each Senate district consisting of exactly two separate House districts contained completely within that Senate district.

• Applies to redistricting beginning in 2021 and becomes fully effective for the 2022 general election and all subsequent legislative elections.
