Recognizes that Arizona has resettled over 60,000 refugees since 1978 from diverse countries, religions, and cultures who contribute to the state's economy as workers, business owners, and taxpayers.

Notes that global refugee numbers have reached 25.4 million (more than half children) and that refugees undergo extensive vetting by multiple law enforcement and intelligence agencies before admission.

Acknowledges that current federal policy reduced annual refugee admissions to 22,000 in 2018, compared to a historical average of 75,000 annually.

Declares legislative support for resettling all types of refugees in Arizona and calls for stronger national efforts to resettle the world's most vulnerable refugees.
