AZ HJR2003

Designates the portion of historic United States Route 66 between Seligman, Arizona and Kingman, Arizona as the "Hualapai Veterans Highway" in honor of Hualapai veterans.

Recognizes the service and sacrifice of Native Americans in U.S. armed forces from the American Revolution through current military operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Highlights that the designated highway section runs through Peach Springs, Arizona, the capital of the Hualapai Tribe, and that Hualapai members have served in World War I, World War II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War.

Directs the Arizona Department of Transportation to approve, place, and maintain appropriate signage identifying the Hualapai Veterans Highway.

Requires the Secretary of State to transmit copies of the joint resolution to the Director of the Arizona Department of Transportation and the Chairperson of the Hualapai Tribal Council.
