SB 1032 Summary

• Requires electors voting at on-site early voting locations to present and confirm identification as prescribed in section 16-579 before receiving a ballot.

• Allows county recorders to establish on-site early voting locations at the recorder's office beginning the same day early ballots are mailed to voters, and to establish other early voting locations throughout the county as deemed necessary.

• Permits electors to vote at on-site locations by appearing in person no later than 5:00 p.m. on the Friday preceding the election after presenting identification and being given a ballot.

• Maintains existing early ballot request procedures while adding identification requirements specific to on-site voting locations.
