Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 38-797 to revise definitions and requirements for the long-term disability (LTD) program administered by the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS).

Changes "monthly compensation" calculation from using the median of remaining pay periods to using the mean of remaining pay periods after disregarding highest and lowest compensation amounts.

Changes disability determination standard from requiring inability to perform "all duties" of the member's position to inability to perform "one or more" duties, and changes from "position" to "occupation" held at time of disability.

Adds language allowing ASRS or its contracted administrator to investigate and collect evidence when investigating potential falsification of information or records related to LTD program eligibility or benefits.

Establishes minimum monthly LTD benefit of $50 per month, except when limited by the income cap provisions that prevent total monthly income from exceeding 100% of monthly compensation.
