AZ SB1093

Authorizes the Arizona Department of Corrections to deduct driver license and nonoperating identification license fees from prisoners' spendable and dedicated discharge accounts before discharge.

Allows fees prescribed by title 28 or the Department of Transportation's rules to be withdrawn from prisoner accounts if the prisoner is eligible for either type of identification credential.

Modifies sections 31-201.01, 31-228, 31-230, and 31-237 of the Arizona Revised Statutes to implement these account deduction provisions.

Applies to prisoners being released on parole, community supervision, probation, or discharge from the state Department of Corrections.
