Amends Arizona Revised Statutes sections 38-766.02, 38-804, 38-849, and 38-884 relating to the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS).

Adds subsections F and G to section 38-766.02 to allow employers to request credits or refunds if alternate contribution rates were incorrectly paid for retired members who return to work and are later determined to be exempt from the requirement.

Modifies section 38-804 to clarify pension payment rules for elected officials who return to the same office within one full term after retirement, limiting repayment obligations to amounts received during that specific term for members who retired on or after July 1, 2009.

Updates sections 38-849 and 38-884 to establish a twelve-month waiting period (rather than one year) for retired members to be reemployed by their former employer and continue receiving pensions, with provisions allowing subsequent reemployment after suspension if at least sixty consecutive days have passed.

Adds provisions allowing the board discretionary authority to reduce overpayment repayment obligations to only amounts received during the reemployment period if the reemployment and pension suspension failure were not intentional to circumvent requirements.
