Requires child care personnel, including volunteers, to obtain valid fingerprint clearance cards issued pursuant to section 41-1758.07 before beginning employment or volunteer work, removing the previous allowance to apply within seven working days of employment.

Applies fingerprinting requirements to child care facilities, child care group homes, day care homes, and registered child care home providers in Arizona.

Requires applicants and personnel to attest on department-provided forms that they have not been convicted of specified offenses, are not parents of dependent children, and have not been denied or had revoked licenses or certifications in child care.

Mandates employers make documented good faith efforts to contact previous employers of child care personnel to obtain relevant information about an individual's fitness for employment.

Requires employers to notify the department of public safety if they receive credible evidence that child care personnel have been arrested for specified offenses or falsified information on required attestation forms.
