Changes the classification of misconduct involving weapons under subsection A, paragraph 2 (carrying a concealed deadly weapon under age 21) from class 1 misdemeanor to class 3 misdemeanor.

Changes the classification of misconduct involving weapons under subsection A, paragraph 10 (entering a public establishment or event with a deadly weapon after being asked to remove it) from class 1 misdemeanor to a petty offense.

Corrects grammatical language by changing "that" to "who" when referring to a judicial officer pro tempore in subsection D.

Maintains existing classifications for other weapon misconduct violations, including class 2 felony for terrorism-related offenses and class 4 felony for prohibited weapon possession.
