• Establishes the Alzheimer's and Related Dementias Training Standards and Requirements Study Committee consisting of 15 categories of members including legislators, health officials, nonprofit representatives, family members, law enforcement, and first responders.

• Committee shall evaluate and recommend policy for establishing dementia-capable workforce training and standards, with focus on protecting first responders and persons living with Alzheimer's disease or related dementias.

• Committee must assess feasibility of mandating minimum training hour requirements while considering rural communities and caregiving needs of dementia patients.

• Committee must submit findings and actionable recommendations to the governor, legislature, and secretary of state by December 31, 2019 with any proposed legislation for 2020.

• Committee is automatically repealed on September 30, 2020.
