AZ SB1361

Prohibits the Department of Corrections from entering into contracts for inmate telephone system services that allow the department to receive revenue exceeding its reasonable operating costs for establishing and administering the service.

Specifically bans contracts containing commissions, profit sharing, percentage payments, up-front signing bonuses, inflated rent payments, or unrelated technology supplies.

Applies to all inmate telephone system service contracts entered into by the department.
