• Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 32-506 to add paragraph 14 creating an exemption from cosmetology licensing for persons who dry, style, arrange, dress, curl, hot iron, or shampoo and condition hair without applying reactive chemicals that permanently alter hair structure.

• Requires persons using this exemption to complete a board-approved class covering sanitation, infection protection, and law review.

• Exemption does not apply if the person is engaging in the practice of aesthetics or cosmetology.

• Requires exempt persons to post a conspicuous sign notifying the public that their services are not regulated by the board.
