Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 23-356 to allow employees to file written wage claims with the department for unpaid wages not exceeding $5,000 within one year after the claim accrues.

Authorizes the department to obtain judgment, execution, garnishment, attachment, or other remedies on behalf of employees to collect unpaid wages established by final department determination.

Requires the department to deposit wage claim payments received into a special state fund for disbursement to wage claimants upon proper authorization.

Mandates quarterly reporting to the president of the senate and speaker of the house of representatives on: the number of wage claims filed, the number investigated, and the number denied investigation.
