Establishes the Office of New Americans within the Department of Economic Security to serve as a point of contact for immigration-related policy issues and coordinate among state agencies.

Office duties include responding to inquiries about immigration issues, analyzing economic and demographic trends, developing strategies to attract and retain immigrants, and providing matching grants for immigration and economic development programs.

Creates an Advisory Committee to the Office of New Americans with 18 members including directors of state agencies and governor-appointed representatives from business, legal, educational, healthcare, and refugee resettlement sectors.

Advisory committee shall make policy recommendations, serve as liaison between the governor and immigrant communities, monitor state agency practices, conduct annual public hearings, and assess how state government can improve in attracting and integrating immigrants.

Advisory committee sunsets on July 1, 2027.
