Amends Laws 2018, chapter 230, section 1 to extend the reporting deadline for the towing safety task force from December 31, 2018 to December 1, 2019.

Requires the task force to submit a final report of findings and recommendations to the governor, president of the senate, and speaker of the house of representatives by the new deadline and provide a copy to the secretary of state.

Extends the repeal date of the task force from September 30, 2019 to December 31, 2019.

Task force remains composed of two house members, two senate members, the DPS director or designee, two towing industry representatives, one local law enforcement member, and one at-large member.

Task force continues to review towing safety laws, receive data and testimony, recommend driver education measures, and propose policy improvements for towing safety.
