AZ SCR1007

Proposes amendment to Article VII, Section 2 of Arizona Constitution to lower voting age from 18 years to 16 years old.

Maintains all other voter qualification requirements including U.S. citizenship and state residency period as prescribed by law.

Retains existing disqualifications for persons adjudicated incapacitated or convicted of treason or felony unless restored to civil rights.

Requires submission of the proposed amendment to Arizona voters at the next general election for approval per Article XXI of the Arizona Constitution.
