Arizona Legislature formally applies to Congress to call an Article V constitutional convention to propose an amendment limiting the number of terms for U.S. House Representatives and U.S. Senators.

This application is intended to be combined with applications from other states to reach the two-thirds threshold of states required under Article V to force Congress to call a convention.

The resolution constitutes a continuing application that remains in effect until at least two-thirds of all state legislatures have submitted applications on the same subject of congressional term limits.

Arizona Secretary of State must transmit copies of this resolution to the President of the U.S. Senate, Speaker of the U.S. House, all Arizona members of Congress, and presiding officers of each state legislative house.
