Recognizes the 100th anniversary of Grand Canyon National Park on February 26, 2019.

Acknowledges the Grand Canyon's geologic significance spanning nearly half of Earth's history and its 12,000-year continuous habitation by indigenous groups, including six Native American tribes currently living in and around the canyon.

Honors the park's historical development from Theodore Roosevelt's 1908 declaration as a national monument to its elevation to national park status in 1919 and subsequent 1979 designation as a World Heritage Site.

Celebrates the park's economic impact, with 6.2 million visitors in 2017 spending $667 million in nearby communities and supporting over 9,400 jobs with a cumulative economic benefit of $938 million.

Calls for celebrating the park's impact on Arizona's citizens, economy, history, and global reputation while inspiring future generations to experience and protect the park's beauty, natural resources, and cultural significance.
