AZ HB2043

Prohibits high school, college, and university identification cards from being accepted as valid forms of voter identification at polling places.

Requires all voter identification to be issued only after providing proof of citizenship, including Arizona driver licenses, nonoperating identification licenses, tribal identification, and government-issued IDs.

Removes utility bills, bank statements, vehicle registrations, vehicle insurance cards, and property tax statements from the list of acceptable secondary identification documents for voting.

Requires a three-fourths affirmative vote of both houses of the legislature for the amendment to take effect, per the Arizona Constitution.
