• Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 11-475 to establish a new $9 fee for recording and releasing liens pursuant to sections 33-931 and 33-934.

• Renumbers existing fee provisions to accommodate the new lien fee category while maintaining all other recorder fees unchanged.

• Establishes a study committee on maintenance and retention of records consisting of legislators, state officials, county recorders, and representatives from county associations to review recording requirements, public records management statutes, and recording costs.

• Requires the study committee to submit findings and recommendations to the governor and legislature by July 1, 2021.

• The study committee provision is repealed September 30, 2022.
