HB 2297 Summary

• Amends Section 49-1204, Arizona Revised Statutes, regarding annual reporting requirements for the water infrastructure finance authority.

• Expands recipients of the annual report to include the chairperson of the senate natural resources and energy committee and the chairperson of the house of representatives natural resources, energy and water committee, or their successor committees.

• Requires the board to provide a copy of the annual report and annual audit to the secretary of state.

• Maintains existing requirements for certified public accountant audits within 120 days of fiscal year end and filing with the auditor general.
