Amends section 36-424 of Arizona Revised Statutes regarding inspections and licensing of health care institutions.

Clarifies that accreditation reports may substitute for compliance inspections, except for intermediate care facilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Expands reporting requirement to board of examiners to include "assisted living facility managers" in addition to nursing care institution administrators regarding conduct that may warrant disciplinary action.

Maintains existing provisions allowing the director to conduct inspections when accreditation reports are not valid for the entire licensure period or when enforcement actions have been taken within the preceding year.
