Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 15-183 to require charter schools to participate in and comply with the national school lunch and child nutrition acts (42 U.S.C. sections 1751-1793), with an exemption for charter schools with fewer than 100 pupils that opt out at a public governing body meeting.

Makes minor technical corrections and clarifications throughout the charter school statute, including changing "submit an application" to "apply in writing" and updating grammatical references.

Maintains existing requirements for charter school operations including fingerprinting, public meetings, personnel qualifications, financial reporting, and performance framework reviews by sponsors.

Preserves charter school exemptions from most state education statutes while requiring compliance with federal and state laws on health, safety, civil rights, insurance, and special education.
