Appropriates $400,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2020-2021 to the Department of Education for public schools to plant low-biogenic volatile organic compound-emitting trees on campuses.

Until December 31, 2020, distributes funds on a first-come, first-served basis only to public schools where 75% or more of students are eligible for free or reduced-price lunches; after that date, remaining funds available to all public schools.

Limits distribution to a maximum of $1,500 per school campus.

Allows the Department of Education to require schools receiving funds to report on their use of the monies, and permits schools to partner with nonprofit organizations for tree planting.

Exempts the appropriation from lapsing provisions under Arizona Revised Statutes section 35-190.
