• Amends Arizona tax code to update the reference date for the federal Internal Revenue Code from January 1, 2019 to January 1, 2020 for taxable years beginning after December 31, 2019.

• Updates the definition of "email" in A.R.S. 42-1001 to replace "e-mail" with "email" as the standard terminology.

• Adds provisions to include retroactively effective provisions from the Taxpayer First Act (P.L. 116-25) and the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2020 (P.L. 116-94) for taxable years beginning between December 31, 2018 and December 31, 2019.

• Incorporates the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2020 (P.L. 116-94) into prior tax year definitions for consistency across multiple taxable year periods from 2008 through 2019.

• Effective upon the Governor's approval on March 24, 2020.
