• Requires recall petitions to be signed by qualified electors equaling 25 percent of votes cast at the last preceding general election for the office, divided by the number of offices being filled.

• For officers in newly created divisions or districts, the signature requirement is 25 percent of votes cast for candidates in other divisions or districts of the same office in that county or city.

• For appointed officers or those deemed elected when an election was canceled due to no opposing candidates, the requirement is reduced to 10 percent of active registered voters in the jurisdiction as of the last general election date.
