Adds Arizona Revised Statutes section 31-256 requiring the director of the Department of Corrections to notify the Industrial Commission of Arizona when a prisoner is injured during productive work in state prisons, private prisons under contract, or while working for private employers under section 41-1624.01.

Requires notification to be provided in the same manner as if the prisoner were entitled to workers' compensation under title 23, chapter 6.

Explicitly states that the notification requirement does not entitle injured prisoners to receive workers' compensation benefits.
