Repeals section 41-3020.12, Arizona Revised Statutes, which previously governed the archaeology advisory commission.

Establishes a new section 41-3023.16 that continues the archaeology advisory commission with a termination date of July 1, 2023.

Requires the archaeology advisory commission to provide expert advice to the state historic preservation officer on archaeological education, protection of archaeological sites, and archaeological activities and issues.

Repeals section 41-847 and the new section 41-3023.16 on January 1, 2024, providing a final wind-down period after the commission's termination.

Applies retroactively to July 1, 2020.
