Appropriates $150,000 in fiscal year 2020-2021 to each community college district in counties with populations under 500,000 persons for public safety enhancements, including creating at least one new certified peace officer position.

Provides an additional $150,000 to qualifying community college districts that offer on-campus housing for at least 100 persons, with the same requirement to create at least one new certified peace officer position.

Allocates $150,000 to community college districts serving as the primary educational provider to a provisional community college district, requiring creation of at least one full-time or two part-time certified peace officer positions based at the provisional college.

Allows community college districts to contract with local police agencies to provide the required peace officers rather than hiring directly.

All peace officers funded by these appropriations must be certified by the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board.
