• Requires the Department of Education to submit reports on or before November 1, 2020 and every four years thereafter on monies generated by group A and B weights and students attending school through open enrollment, with data provided statewide and by county.

• Mandates a one-time report by November 1, 2020 on gifted education including total pupils served, total spending by school districts and charter schools, and primary services provided, with this reporting requirement repealed after December 31, 2020.

• Appropriates $1,000,000 from the state general fund for fiscal year 2020-2021 to the Department of Education for additional assistance to gifted programs under section 15-779.03.
