• Prevents governmental entities, accrediting organizations, and athletic associations from taking adverse action against educational institutions for maintaining separate female athletic teams.

• Establishes private right of action for students denied athletic opportunities due to violations, students facing retaliation for reporting violations, and eligible institutions harmed by violations; includes damages, attorney fees, and injunctive relief with a 2-year statute of limitations.

• Applies to public schools, private schools in athletic associations, Arizona Board of Regents universities, community colleges, and higher education institutions in NCAA, NAIA, or NJCAA.
