• Requires the Arizona Department of Health Services to submit a report by December 31, 2020 to legislative leadership and the governor regarding disorders on the federal recommended uniform screening panel not currently included in Arizona's newborn screening program.

• Report must assess the number of newborn infants in Arizona impacted by each unlisted disorder and analyze the process for adding new disorders to the state's screening panel.

• Report must evaluate available testing methodology and equipment, identify clinical or technological challenges to adding screenings, and assess fees for first and second screenings including impacts to the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System.

• This requirement automatically repeals on June 30, 2021.
